I grew up on a small family-owned dairy farm in Southwest Wisconsin where I was very much involved in 4-H, FFA, music, and sports (mainly basketball, soccer, and track). From there, my life gets a little more interesting... While Wisconsin will always be home, I haven't spent much time there in a several years. After highschool, I tried a few different life paths (college, driving school bus, working on the family farm) but I needed a change. A new, unique direction...
Serving as a weather forecaster in the US Air Force taught me the discipline I needed to pursue my interests in geography. It also fueled my passion for travel and seeking out the adventures that await the curious. My hobby in photography has helped to record some of these adventures.
